The workshop will continue a decade of work including two previous workshops on data exchange in multimodal transport and trade facilitation.
It should be noted that last year more than 260 participants from 34 countries and 10 international and regional specialized organizations and associations joined the workshop. The appropriate level of representation of Ukrainian government agencies and representatives of the business community at previous events has greatly contributed to strengthening the image of Ukraine as a state open to innovative projects, capable of implementing the best world experience and practices.
This year's workshop will focus on the development and application of a set of standards aligned with the UN Center for Trade Facilitation and Electronic Business (UN / CEFACT) data reference models, which aim to digitally transform the exchange of data and documents in multimodal transport. At this stage, standards for the main documents accompanying goods transported by road, rail, inland waterway, sea and air have already been prepared and are in the process of being developed.
The seminar will be attended by representatives of the secretariats of regional organizations UNECE, UN / CEFACT, IMO, ICAO, GUAM, BSEC, OSZ, MKZT, IRU, CLECAT, IASPS, FIATA, as well as representatives of the leadership of ministries and departments of Ukraine, other countries and representatives of business communities of Europe and the countries of the Eastern Partnership.
Participants of the Black Sea-Baltic Sea transport corridors, as well as the Europe-Caucasus-Asia (TRACECA) transport corridor are invited to the event.
During the events, presentations will be made by the Directorate General of the European Commission for Neighborhood and Enlargement (DG NEAR), Taxation and Customs Union (DG TAXUD) and Mobility and Transport (DG MOVE).
